Mutual Fund Breakpoint Refund Interest Calculator

The Mutual Fund Breakpoint Refund Calculator is a tool that member firms can use to determine the appropriate refund due to investors. A refund might be due if a firm charged incorrect sales fees in the purchase of Class A mutual fund shares.

For each mutual fund transaction, enter the Transaction Date on which the mutual fund purchase originally occurred, the dollar value that the investor overpaid (Overcharge Amount), the Refund Date on which the firm will refund the investor, and then click on the "Calculate" button at the bottom of the screen. The Identifier field is an optional field that allows the user to relate specific calculations with specific investors.

Use of this tool is subject to the terms provided in the Legal Notices.

For help and assistance with the Mutual Fund Breakpoint Refund Calculator, view a list of frequently asked questions, including information on the interest rate used to calculate the refund amount.
